Doing it, step by step
Install Smart IPTV from the television's store
On Samsung, open Apps from the home screen and search for Smart IPTV. On LG, use the LG Content Store. Install it and open it once. If the app is missing from your store, the set may be too old or the app may be unavailable in your region, in which case a stick in a spare HDMI port is the practical answer.
Write down the MAC address it shows
On first launch the app displays a MAC address on screen, six pairs of characters separated by colons. Copy it down very carefully - from across a room it is easy to confuse 0 with O and 8 with B, and a single wrong character means your playlist is uploaded against a television that does not exist. Photograph the screen if that is easier than transcribing it.
Open siptv.app on a phone or computer
Go to siptv.app in a browser and find the upload page. Doing this on a phone rather than the television is the entire point of the method: you are about to paste a long URL, and pasting is trivial on a phone and miserable with a remote.
Paste the MAC address and your M3U link
Enter the MAC address exactly as shown on the television, then paste your full M3U link from the WhatsApp message. The link must be complete, including everything after the question mark - that tail carries your credentials, and a truncated link produces an empty channel list rather than an error. Submit the form.
Restart the app on the television properly
Close Smart IPTV completely rather than simply returning to the home screen, then open it again. The app only requests its playlist at launch, so an app left running in the background will keep showing nothing and you will conclude the upload failed. On some Samsung sets a full power cycle is needed rather than just exiting the app.
Tidy the list and add favourites
Once the channels appear, hide the groups the household will not use and mark your regulars as favourites. On a television with no box attached, and a remote designed for a handful of inputs, this makes more difference to whether the switch feels like an upgrade than anything else you can do.
Pay the one-off fee when the trial ends
After the short trial the app asks for a small one-time payment for that television. It is not a subscription and not annual. If you would rather not pay it, and IPTV Smarters exists in your store, switch to that instead - it is free and takes an ordinary login.
When something goes wrong
The channel list is empty after uploading
Three things cause almost all of these. Re-check the MAC address character by character. Confirm the M3U link was pasted in full, including the portion after the question mark. Then make sure you closed and reopened the app rather than leaving it running, because it only fetches at launch.
The app says the trial has expired
That is the app's own licensing rather than anything to do with your subscription, and it is per television. Pay the one-off fee on siptv.app for that MAC address, or move to IPTV Smarters if your store carries it. Your Orca4KTV account is unaffected either way.
The MAC address changed after a factory reset
It can, particularly if the television switched between wired and wireless networking, because the two interfaces have different MAC addresses. Read the address the app now displays and upload the playlist again against the new one. If you have already paid the licence for the old address, contact the app developer - that is their side, not ours.
Channels load but there is no programme guide
Guide support through the playlist method is limited compared with an Xtream login. Some guide data comes through, but coverage is patchier by design. If the guide matters to the household, IPTV Smarters with an Xtream login, or a cheap stick running TiViMate, will both do considerably better.

Questions people ask about the Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
Why does this app use a MAC address instead of a login?
Because typing a long playlist URL on a television remote is genuinely awful, and the developer chose to move that step to a phone instead. The MAC address simply identifies which television should collect which playlist. Once you accept the logic it is quite sensible, even if it feels strange the first time.
Is the fee a subscription?
No. It is a single payment for one television, made to the app's developer, and it does not recur. If you later add a second Samsung or LG set, that one needs its own licence because it has its own MAC address.
Should I use this or IPTV Smarters?
IPTV Smarters, where your store has it, because it is free and an Xtream login gives you the guide and the on-demand library. Smart IPTV is the right answer when Smarters is missing from your region's store, which does happen on older Samsung and LG models.
Does the app update itself?
The television store handles updates to the app in the usual way, though Samsung and LG are both slow to push them and you may be running an older build for some time without noticing. Your playlist is fetched fresh at every launch regardless, so channel changes at our end reach you whether or not the app itself has been updated recently.
Can I change the playlist later without paying again?
Yes. The licence is attached to the television's MAC address rather than to a particular playlist, so you can upload a new or updated M3U link against the same address whenever you need to, at no further cost.
